We’re happy to announce that we’ve recently launched a new full-service e-commerce website for our friends at RockNSocks. When they initially came to ZDCA, they wanted a full visual and functionality upgrade to their existing site. We brought their online sales and inventory management systems from a ZenCart application to Magento, and re-built their shipping and accounting process from the ground up. Creatively we built upon the funky fun theme started by their previous designer and added another level of dimension, form and interactivity. We chose to break free of the typical e-commerce shopping site template style and re-created the site architecture by bringing the shopping cart, search, wishlist, account and other useful shopping tools into the top nav bar. This allows a convenient way for the visitors to see what’s in the cart at any time without stepping on the design or carrying you to another page.

Advanced Auto Group Website

When our friends at Advanced Auto Group in Santa Rosa needed a face lift to their outdated website, they came to us for help. We worked with them through the many steps of taking their online presence to the next level. We photographed their facilities, work and staff, re-worked their copy and took their unique purple design theme and worked it into the new design.

This site is fully Web 2.0 integrated and features search engine optimization, dynamic content, blogging, social networking, widgets, interactive photo gallery, dynamic maps, animated home page, animated navigation and drop-down menus, site-wide search, custom HDR photography and mobile device compatibility.

In an effort to speak to the motivating influences of Hydro Pacific’s demographic, we needed to create an ad that was creative and edgy enough to draw new visitors to the web store. Many of today’s indoor gardner magazines are urban, grungy and punchy with a twist of organic hippie. With that in mind we designed this campaign.

Nomads World Gallery

Today Zack Darling Creative Associates launched Nomads World Gallery . Nomad’s World is a beautiful import store and gallery based in downtown Ukiah, California. The owners, Rita & Chance, are two charismatic globetrotters with impeccable taste in art, design, color and craftwork. Their beautiful store clearly shows their quality taste, and their website needed to as well.

The challenge with this project was to present an enormous amount of visual imagery within a relatively small website. We accomplished this through dynamic interactive galleries that exist throughout the site. Also, we needed to help them present their message of global-mindedness and “true fair-trade” with a unified voice. We interviewed them and created site copy based on the information and our own experience with their store. The result: a colorful and well expressed website that offers a true journey through their gallery, their lives and the world.

Zack Darling Creative Associates blasts off with a 2000+ product e-commerce web store.

We are happy to announce that on January 11th, 2010, we will be launching our latest e-commerce website. Hydro Pacific is one of Northern California’s larges hydroponics and organic gardening retailers. They came to us 5 months ago to help them bring their company to the field of e-commerce sales with strength and style. We managed every aspect of this crucial transition including design, strategy, inventory management, product photography, marketing, database building, accounting & taxes, shipping department, you name it.
