Nomad’s World is a beautiful import store and gallery based in downtown Ukiah, California. The owners, Rita & Chance, are two charismatic globetrotters with impeccable taste in art, design, color and craftwork. Their beautiful store clearly shows their quality taste, and their website needed to as well.

The challenge with this project was to present an enormous amount of visual imagery within a relatively small website. We accomplished this through dynamic interactive galleries that exist throughout the site. Also, we needed to help them present their message of global-mindedness and “true fair-trade” with a unified voice. We interviewed them and created site copy based on the information and our own experience with their store. The result: a colorful and well expressed website that offers a true journey through their gallery, their lives and the world.

Again, with all my music, this is a very eclectic mix that should spread the gamut of generations and music styles. I haven’t released a CD in over four years and have rarely been gigging over the past two. As an avid collector of vinyl, the digital migration was a slow and methodical one for me. As a dance floor DJ I found myself moving from my strong association with nu-skook breakbeats in favor of a much more eclectic style of mashups. My passions for reggae, downtempo, chill and classic 60′-80’s rock have remained strong and clearly found their way into my new eclectic flavor.

This mix is named after a magical night with my friends Cassidy & Christina as we tromped around Oregon Country Fair creating puns out of various farm terms. The best which was Lettuce Turnip Beets. Over coming months I plan on releasing a number of new mixes to blast off the coming 2010 summer festival season. Stay tuned for more as I currently have 14 different mixes in progress. This mix is a slower dance set that ranges from 92 to 100 BPM. The next 2 mixes from this series will be a bit faster with a similar style of mashups intertwined with thick dance beats.

They came to us 5 months ago to help them bring their company to the field of e-commerce sales with strength and style. We managed every aspect of this crucial transition including design, strategy, inventory management, product photography, marketing, database building, accounting & taxes, shipping department, you name it.
